Our vision for BEAT is that, for a brief time each autumn, the city’s spotlight will shine on Brooklyn and our artists, venues and communities.  We believe the time is now to seize the city and the world’s attention and show everything what we’re about.

Within each community, every resident has a favorite local “spot”.  Within each neighborhood, there are spaces which only the locals know about.  Every person has a friend who is talented beyond belief and who needs a chance to shine.  BEAT celebrates these, and more.
